Gwinnett County currently only picks up:
Steel (soup cans, etc.)
Aluminum (soda cans, etc.)
#1 and #2 Plastics (Soda, water bottles, Milk jugs and detergent bottles)
That policy leaves out one of the most recyclable resources around... GLASS! AND not including it in the curbside recycling service means many folks just throw it out.
Our county does offer an option though, other than throwing glass away. Certain Gwinnett parks have a dumpster where YOU can bring your glass for recycling.
OUR service offers to pick up your glass and deliver it to those recycling points, saving you the time. We will deliver a clean green bucket and shake your hand, explain the details and work out the schedule. Then on the designated day, we'll come by and empty that bucket. On the 4th visit we'll even swap out a clean bucket, so we can keep this setup going!
